St. Florence

The Welsh village of St. Florence is located in the attractive rural hinterland of South Pembrokeshire. It lies away from the coast, and the Daugleddau Estuary is scattered with tranquil rural villages reached through a maze of quiet country lanes and footpaths which criss-cross the area.

The village itself lies some three miles west of Tenby, in the valley of the Ritec, at the foot of the northern slopes of the Ridgeway;  the southern part of the village straddles the river. It is served only by narrow, minor roads, with the Tenby/Sageston B4318 to the north and the ancient Ridgeway road to the south.

This charming picturesque village centres around the Parish Church, Village Shop and 2 Public Houses; The Parsonage Farm Inn and The Sun Inn. On the outskirts of the village, or within a short drive there are various leisure parks and riding schools.

In recent years, St. Florence has received many floral awards, including first prize in Wales in Bloom competition on more than one occasion.
